A few other things you probably don’t know: illegals in America can get bank loans, mortgages, insurance, driver’s licenses, free healthcare (California & New York) and in-state college tuition. What’s the point of being a citizen if an illegal gets all the benefits, but doesn’t pay taxes or do jury duty?

By "illegals," do you mean undocumented? If so you're talking about people who DO pay taxes, and they DO contribute to our society and to our economy. They are more the givers than the receivers in this deal.

He's talking about people who break the law and illegally cross the border. And no, they are not a net benefit. More than 7 out of 10 illegal immigrant households get some form of welfare. They also don't pay income tax. Even if they have a job on the books, they still don't pay income tax because the bottom 50% doesn't pay income tax. You can have the open border you want or the welfare system you want. You can't have both, Marrianne. American citizens are suffering. Maybe focus on them.

“Illegal alien” was good enough for mi abuela; we don’t need another euphemism.

Many of them will send almost everything they make to their home country. That’s money that is not re-invested in the US. There’s studies that show this to be a huge part of the GDP for these other countries. We should heavily tax those transactions.

What social security number do they pay their taxes with?

That is misinformation!

Every legal citizen with a job can tell you what percentage of their income goes to taxes. The also have documents that prove they are citizens. If you don't know how many illegals are here and what part of their income goes to taxes it's all a big guess.
