An endless cycle of attack and retaliation in the MIddle East is not wise, reflective, mature foreign policy. It is irresponsible, militaristic, dangerous - displaying the opposite of "qualified" leadership for a sustainable 21st Century. #marianne2024
Today, at my direction, U.S. military forces struck targets in Iraq and Syria that the IRGC and affiliated militia use to attack U.S. forces. We do not seek conflict in the Middle East or anywhere else in the world. But to all those who seek to do us harm: We will respond.

If more famous people like you had called for a return of the hostages, we would probably not be in this situation. And not a word about raping women to death so I guess that is fine with you--as long as they are the RIGHT people.....

Violence is prevalent in Middle East politics bc that is how they define power. You don’t win anything but defeat w ur idealistic, naive approach that assumes everyone shares upper class, privileged, white, coastal elite American values. The world is not California

It is dangerous that perhaps the Military Industrial Complex that has been gunning for Iran since the 1970s is actually taking advantage of the lucidity of the sitting US President, and they can get away with setting the Middle East ablaze with bombs for profits, oil, land, etc
