Medicare for All would actually save us $5T over the course of 10 years The question is not how will we pay for it? The question is why we are allowing ourselves to pay such a high cost for NOT having it: 68,000 people in America are dying every year from lack of healthcare. We are paying for that with our lives. #MedicareForAll. tiktok.com/t/ZT8WsbFxm/

I'm all for single-payer. But I think opponents object to transferring the cost to the national budget. They prefer to strap ordinary people with the burden of medical debt to prolong the damnably worrying fiction that it can ever be repaid. It helps keep us all in line.

This will backfire if the supply-side of healthcare is not concomitantly addressed. Hold the #MedicalMafia accountable for #PriceGouging and make it inordinately expensive to train healthcare professionals or *import* them from other countries!

I’m a Medicare provider. I’m also a Medicare recipient. I will tell you this: M4All will absolutely tank our healthcare system. Absolutely not realistic. (But yes to universal healthcare.) Medicare as it is right now will be devastating.

How many people would the government need to hire? How much would they be paid? That is where most of the money would go.

The numbers have been run thoroughly, Medicare for all is so deflationary it requires massive tax cuts to balance, end FICA & get Medicare for All win/win.
