No, it's that your solutions trap people in poverty by replacing their self-esteem, independence, ambition, and confidence with self deprication, dependence, envy, and insecurity. Stealing and throwing money at the poor is what socialist politicians do because they're either lazy, stupid, or malevolent. (Or all of the above) You don't want to help the poor. You just want to hurt the rich, even if it destroys the poor. Socialist envy dictates equality of outcome, even if that outcome is everyone with lower living standards and a higher cost of living.

Perhaps the current ECONOMIC IDEOLOGY (never science) based on RATIONALIZATION IS revealing. PROFIT was an incentive in a contractual society. It was considered asadded value" to promote the END NEEDS of SOCIETY. Distribution was to be UTILITARIAN. SOMETHING HAPPENED...
