Israel will not provide the slightest assurance that the war in Gaza will lead to plans for a 2-state solution. In fact, words spoken by Israeli defense officials are suggesting otherwise. The war does nothing but perpetuate an endless cycle of horror. President Biden continuing to support the current activity of the Israeli government in Gaza is a betrayal of the Palestinians and ultimately of the international community. If Biden continues to conspire with Netanyahu's actions, the American people will take it into our own hands and defeat him at the ballot box. Yet there is no guarantee that Donald Trump would be any better on this issue, and Nikki Haley would be far worse. We must act now. As President, I will immediately call Bibi and tell him that the United States will send not one more dollar, or one more piece of military assistance, to support this war which violates our own human values. Netanyahu represents neither the spirit nor the best interests of the Israeli people, and his policies are a menace to the Palestinians.
