It's not generous to steal someone's money and give it away.
The federal govt doesn't produce anything and therefore must steal money from people.
The American people are generous.
You are mistaking the people with the federal govt.
It is not okay to steal money from one person to give to another just because, in your opinion, that other person is more deserving or needy.
And it takes zero generosity to do that.
