We need a Department of Peace because it is unsustainable to respond to increased human conflict by simply building more prisons or dropping more bombs. 1/5

Wherever large groups of people are desperate, there are seeds of conflict. As long as we are unwilling to do everything possible to ameliorate the despair, we are supporting systems of incarceration and war that are ultimately a continuation of the violence. 3/5

We need a President who sees and understands this and is not afraid to say it. The Doomsday Clock is ticking closer to midnight, while we go along blindly with a system that spells more and more risk to the survivability of the species. 4/5

#1stPoliticalOrder “… the surest way to curse one’s nation is to subordinate its women. … what is done to women, ultimately is done to the nation-state” “Full and equal rights for women are key to a stable and thriving society. The data is clear countries are more secure, peaceful and prosperous when all people can participate fully and equitably in every sphere of public life. Economies are larger and stronger when women are equally represented. Peace deals are more likely to last when women are at the negotiating table. Countries with high levels of gender equality have stronger and more resilient democracies. That’s why fighting for the rights and dignity of women and girls everywhere is critical to so much else that we want to achieve at home and around the world.” Antony Blinkin Secretary of State IWD 2022 War falls longest, hardest & cruelest on the backs of Women - #PublishTheERA & give US women the foundation of equality to stand up to the #WarOnWomen
