We need a Department of Peace because it is unsustainable to respond to increased human conflict by simply building more prisons or dropping more bombs. 1/5

FDR said we need to do more than end war; we need to end the beginnings of all wars. 2/5

Wherever large groups of people are desperate, there are seeds of conflict. As long as we are unwilling to do everything possible to ameliorate the despair, we are supporting systems of incarceration and war that are ultimately a continuation of the violence. 3/5

We need a President who sees and understands this and is not afraid to say it. The Doomsday Clock is ticking closer to midnight, while we go along blindly with a system that spells more and more risk to the survivability of the species. 4/5

Can you discuss the "Love bill" vs the "Justice bill". How do you plan to pass both. Do you prioritize love or justice? Love and justice both sound great. I hope you win the Presidency and shepard the love bill through Congress. Oh, and the justice bill too. And the peace bill?

Actually, Marianne, the most important problem with the world today is the dim memory of the horror of war as generations come of age without it. -- Would Hamas do Oct 7 if they had clear understanding of what would inevitably follow?
