Elect Better Presidents & Stop Electing Bad Presidents Elector.Vote is a non-partisan effort to elect the Best President and to stop the election of bad Presidents. This can be done by stopping anyone from winning the 2024 Presidential Election. How? Post #1 Who is Our Candidate? We do not have a candidate because that's not how its supposed to work in the first place. The non-partisan election process that our Founding Fathers had devised worked by having American voters elect Electors to the Electoral College. They did not vote for a President directly. The Electors were to be wise people who would defend the awesome powers of the Presidency from bad Presidents even if that was what the American voters wanted. They were there to elect the best qualifying person for President. A President that was best for the country and not necessarily the most popular. Certainly, they did not want anything like our current system. In fact, our Founding Fathers did not trust American voters to directly elect the President because they wanted to stop people who practiced "the low arts of popularity" from becoming President. How true their advise has proven to be when we look at our politics today. Many unfulfilled campaign promises and many unhappy Americans. We do not care about your politics but we believe that all Americans will be far better served by getting rid of the current system of electing Presidents and go back to something like what we used to have. There are 150 million Americans who qualify to be elected as President of the United States of America yet we always get only two viable choices each election and they are never the best that America has to offer. Not even close. It was never suppose to be this way but partisan politics has stolen our election process. To get it back, Elector.Vote is working to try and ensure that no one wins the 2024 election on November 5th, 2024 by definitely defeating Biden and if Trump is disqualified by the Supreme Court or by Congress by Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, defeating the unworthy Republican nominee. If Trump is not disqualified but the Supreme Court rules in Colorado's favor and states are allowed to remove Trump form the ballot, we will work only against Biden. We are not going to work against Trump supporters. Rather we will work with Trump supporters to make sure Biden comes in third place. This way, we can work with Trump supporters and those who are not Trump supporters but do not want Biden to get a second term in office. We will only try to defeat Biden in Blue states. We will not challenge Trump in Red or Swing states. If the Supreme Court rules in Colorado's favor and states are allowed to remove Trump then Trump may have difficulty winning and Trump supporters would benefit from Electors.Vote because Biden would not win. Non-Trump-Non-Biden supporters would benefit by all the unrepresented Trump supporters in Blue states joining them to defeat Biden. A big win. If the Supreme Court rules in Trumps favor, we will not work against Trump but rather work with his supporters to help defeat the Democrats in a crushing blow to demolish the Democrats as a party and build a less partisan system from there. This to will force change upon the system. Victory no matter what. If Trump is unable to win because he did not get 270 Electoral votes then no one will win. Normally, this would force the election to go to the House of Representatives in a Contingent Election but at that point in time, things will change. How to Stop Biden We will be targeting California as without California, Biden cannot win. The Democrats will be spending one billion dollars to get Biden elected but 97% of that money will be spent in the Swing states. They cannot divert those funds to the giant state of California. California may be a solid Blue state but given how unpopular Biden is even among Democrats, California can be won. Trump supporters amount to at least 25% of the vote and Bernie Sanders won the Democratic primaries in 2020 with 34% of the Democrats which represents 17% of the vote. Add to that those who support Trump but do not vote because the Democrats always win and Biden can be defeated along with his entire campaign. The demographics of California also work in our favor. 34% of California voters are Hispanic and they are concerned about many issues that neither Trump nor Biden can solve. Add to that the precarious economic situation of millions of Californians and it is a recipe for a Biden defeat when a better candidates is found among the 150 million qualifying Americans. How to Stop a non-Trump Republican We will target Texas if Trump is not the Republican nominee because a Republican cannot win without Texas. Texas will become easy pickings for us if Trump is not the Republican nominee. Trump supporters who refuse to support the unworthy Republican nominee will possibly join us for a better President. Democrats, knowing that Biden is being eliminated as President by California will only have us to work with. Their vote will be wasted voting for Biden no matter what and the possibility of picking someone other than Biden or the Republican nominee will be their only good option. Electing the Best Person for President A Contingent Election would cause great problems because a great majority of Americans will be very unhappy with the results and the election will be very undemocratic as each state Legislature would get one vote regardless of the population of the state. That means states with big populations such as California and others will be under great pressure to do something. Furthermore, it is very questionable who would win in a Contingent Election because, although most states are Red, not all Red state Legislatures support Trump. There is still a big fight between Trump supporters and RINOs in state legislatures. Red states outnumber Blue states so Biden can't win either. That makes states willing to try something else. That's where they will be forced to allow their Electors to deliberate just as Electors were supposed to do. At this point Electors will have to be released from their Pledges and will be Free Agents who are free to vote for any of the 150 million qualifying Americans. By this time, we will already have organized a search for the best qualifying Americans which American citizens will help to find and choose. With such options, the best President will have to be chosen by the Electoral College. The pressure on our state governments will be huge. Furthermore, after such an event or even before such an impending event, we will get the Supreme Court to reexamine their erroneous decision on July 6th, 2020 regarding "faithless" Electors which forces Electors to be "Agents of the State" rather than "Free Agents" as was intended by our Founding Fathers. We may be able to get them to rule that Electors are Free Agents and that State legislatures must pick non-partisan Electors in place of the ones Elected. More on this in another post. Additionally, we will push to allow only non-partisan and wise people to be Electors in this election and in future elections. This way we can start getting away from the partisan politics that has destroyed our country and made life miserable for many Americans. How to participate? We are just getting started and there is a lot to do. At the moment, it is just one person organizing this but that must change. We are getting certified to run Political ads here on X and setting up a way for American citizens to support us through donations.
