The War on Drugs has completely failed to alleviate the problem it supposedly set out to solve. It has only created more problems, fueling mass incarceration and violence at home and abroad. We have spent $1 trillion and continue to spend $100 billion annually on the failed drug war, and over half of our incarcerated population is in prison because of drug-related charges. I am 100% in agreement with you on this. Every part of this on your policy page: 100% agree. Don't know how and what drugs you would declassify but completely open to ending this punitive, racist, politically motivated WAR ON POOR PEOPLE.

I would say that about 90% of the drug problem exists solely because of our abusive government; when you're on the bottom looking up, considering financial mobility, it takes some serious drugs to forget just how bad your government is. If you want to stop the drug problem, fix.
