Cruelty towards and exploitation of animals must end, including puppy mills, animal fighting, horse soring and slaughter, trophy hunting, the use of wild animals in circuses, illegal wildlife trafficking and poaching. Individual and institutional acts of cruelty are damaging not only to the animal, but also to the human soul. marianne2024.com/issues/anim…

Maybe we focus on child trafficking first

I agree with most of it except for trophy hunting. In many ways, it does far more good than harm, depending on who is running it.

Aggressive pastimes ie. WWF, Football, Face-slapping & war games…are the deliberate constructs used, which underlie rising human cruelty & lack of compassion: Fix the causes 1st, not the resultant manifestations. Capitalists configure ill civility: We need to rebalance offer.

Translation: We must make illegal all these touchy feely things that are already illegal.

Agree. It’s so easy to switch to a plant based diet today. Plenty of canned veg options that might be cheaper than fresh produce for tight budgets. Anyone claiming to be a foodie at the expense of an animal forced to live in a cage doesn’t seem to be much of an influencer.

Must end must it? Let me know how you go with that. Get real. Why is it why it is? I can give you a hint. Pets are just a business that makes money. Many do that are not needed. Jobs for the boys, like. Can we get serious here? Pets; really? Way down the list.

Totally agree, but pls advocate total animal liberation in your platform & become vegan. ALL injustice against animals is equally as evil. You’ll earn many of our votes if you become vegan & make a campaign promise to bring about animal liberation if you were to get in the WH.

We must end factory farming. There are so many animals on this planet being raised to be slaughtered that they are eroding the atmosphere with methane, and we are destroying ancient forests for more room to hold and feed them. And we are dying of cancer and heart disease.

Pretty sure I'm not going to stop hunting no matter what law you'd pass. I will do whatever I want on MY land.
