I visited this area of Eagle Pass about a month ago. I saw the buoys and learned how people drown from them. I saw a hand made monument erected to the 1500 people who died in the Rio Grande last year trying to get across. May God forgive us. #ImpeachGregAbbott

Leaving the border halfway open like it is encourages people to try to cross illegally. You are the problem. Shut it down, incentivize people to come to ports of entry legally, no one dies.
