The United States dropped bombs on the Houthis in Yemen today, because the Houthis are attacking ships in the Red Sea in retaliation against Israel for dropping bombs on Gaza. An infinitely better way to handle this would be for the bombs to stop dropping on Gaza.

I agree with you, but as evil as the atrocities of Oct. 7 were they do not justify what is occurring now. Many things are true at the same time. There is no military solution here and there never was.

Hamas did NOT start this war. It started in the 1920's/ 30's when violent armed Zionists began attacking Palestinians. King David Hotel. Deir Yassin. Nakba. And Hamas did not exist prior to 1987. If you’re playing this game at least start at the beginning. Dont be dishonest.

That is false. While Israelis are in captivity as hostages, and while an existential threat remains next door, any and *every* action is justified to get them back.

Marianne, this war could be over TONIGHT if Hamas surrendered and returned all the hostages back to Israel. That's what everyone wants, Israel included. Hamas wants to continue the bloodshed with no regard for the welfare of Gazans. Learn the facts before talking.
