The United States dropped bombs on the Houthis in Yemen today, because the Houthis are attacking ships in the Red Sea in retaliation against Israel for dropping bombs on Gaza. An infinitely better way to handle this would be for the bombs to stop dropping on Gaza.

I agree with you, but as evil as the atrocities of Oct. 7 were they do not justify what is occurring now. Many things are true at the same time. There is no military solution here and there never was.

Proportionality is based on intent, not based on death counts... You know how many Jews Hamas would have killed if they had the ability to do so? ALL of them. LGBT people too. Christians next. You know how many people in Gaza would have died if Hamas turned themselves in? 0.

They do, Israelis won't be safe as long as hamas exists. They have been bombing Israel for years, no one in the world cared. Only when Israel reacts the world wakes up. The world donates money to gaza and most of it goes to either teorrism or to the pockets of their leaders.

So what's your solution? Hamas said they'll rape and murder more Jews. Hamas has an 80% support base by the Palestinians. Hezbollah is at the north border. How do we get back 130 people still in captivity who are raped & beaten daily by the population (not by Hamas)?

When a Hamas leader in Lebanon says that the terrorist group will repeat its October 7 attack again and again and again is all you need to understand why Israel is waging war right now to destroy Hamas to the greatest extent possible. Policies of containment can no longer apply.
