Covid is surging again. High-quality masks are called for in all healthcare settings, particularly helpful to long Covid patients around the country.
As JN.1 #COVID soars across the East, mandatory #mask 😷 policies return. "...effective 1/12/2024...mandatory masking will resume for patients, visitors & employees in all Johns Hopkins Medicine locations in the state of MD. Masking is required regardless of #vaccination status. #JohnsHopkins Medicine does not permit bandanas, gaiters or masks w/exhalation valves to be worn by patients, staff members or visitors at our locations."

Wrong. Masks do nothing.
Super 40 second video illustrating nicely the absurdity of masks for virus transmission - blue masks don't even stop stray hairs blowing out around the edges, and don't start me on viruses!

Thank you. My hospital system is doing this. Smart people know.

Still with the masks, even after 3+ years of data comparing masked/unmasked and consistently showing no difference in infection rates...except for a slight negative effect in the masked groups...as would be expected when rebreathing waste the body is trying to expell.

They never should have been removed from healthcare settings. The sickest and most vulnerable have no choice but to take the risk that seeking healthcare can further disable them or kill them in the places where life and health should be valued as places of healing - not harm
