At our best, Americans have known when to begin again. When to cut the cord with one chapter of our history and begin another. 1/5

We responded to slavery with Abolition. We responded to the institutionalized oppression of women with the 19th Amendment. We responded to the Gilded Age with the establishment of organized labor. We responded to segregation with the civil rights movement. 2/5

Other generations had to reject specific institutional realities. We need to reject an economic paradigm, a matrix of corporate powers whose profits supersede safety, health, and well-being of the American people. 4/5

My Dad ran in 20 elections as an independent. At first he tried to win, but later he saw his role as making sure the important issues were raised and discussed. Win or lose you are shaping the future of America by talking about what matters.

For those who don’t understand…. “burst of democratic fervor.” ——->> means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It’s so obviously VAGUE that it can be interpreted to anything the reader wants it to mean.

You mean like how you deny that Israel is occupying the Palestinians? You're just another corporate shill pretending to be for the people.
