Trump on The Civil War: I’m so attracted to seeing it. There was something that could’ve been negotiated… Abraham Lincoln, if he negotiated it, we wouldn’t know who Lincoln was. He wouldn’t have been the Abraham Lincoln. But that would’ve been ok.

it’s not just the ignorance, it’s the hubris that makes him think nobody else thought of this. Just like when he thought he was so clever to suggest disinfectant for COVID, and suggested nuking a hurricane. he figured these things hadn’t been tried cuz no one else thought of it
