I'm a nobody, not a woman, not a Christian, but here's my thought on that particular news (One may take it for what it is worth):
I understand all the arguments for and against abortion, and I will save my opinion on that entire subject for another day.
But, this news about that woman facing death due to sepsis, and a court in the U.S. not even "asking" the hospital to save her... Well, I do not think Yeshua would have loved that!
Same goes for "rape". A woman/child gets violated, and she does not want to have an offspring from her rapist, that too should be a no brainer for everyone to understand her sentiment!
Having said that, speaking from my own experience in my own circle of family, distant-family and friends, pregnancies are carefully thought of (e.g., can we afford to raise, can we manage a responsible upbringing, etc.), planned and mutually agreed upon, that too only after getting married. So, for us, the question of abortion does not even arise. Only one person in my entire life has had to do an abortion, that too because it was life-threatening to her... That was it. And, there are no issues producing off-springs in our circle either.
