The fact that those loans ever existed was an egregious exploitation of America’s young. America should be setting our young people up to win, not cutting them off at their knees. The President could use the Higher Education Act to cancel the entire debt. Quality higher education should be the right of every American who academically achieves it.
My Administration has cancelled student debt for 3.6 million people through various actions, bringing the promise of higher education to more hardworking Americans. And we’re going to keep going.

If it be true that these loans have protection against bankruptcy laws, then what would it take a RESASONABLE & JUST SOCIETY TO INFER: A vulture type economy would await its preys death! What, BUT FOR THE PEOPLE'S LEADERS, COULD THESE VULTURE CAPALISTIC MONSTERS EXIST?

Sure we are in 34 Trillion debt. Why the heck should we be forced to pay for someone else’s education? People need to learn responsibility and commitment to their promises. Pay your bills.

Reagan started us on this horrible path when he changed many of the college financial aid programs from grants to loans. It's been downhill ever since.

I guess you didn't read the Supreme Court decision that struck down Biden's broad based plan under the HEROES Act, did you? If you read it, you would've known that John Roberts addressed the "certain limited circumstance" under which the Higher Ed Act allows forgiveness. 👇

Well, the loans weren’t “cancelled.” Someone paid for them.

The fact that he co-authored the legislation that made that debt all but impossible to discharge via bankruptcy gets missed alot.
