Um, no, that's not classy; it's just good PR. Classy would have been, "We respect the decision made by Costco workers to form a union, and we look forward to a mutually constructive relationship."
Last week, employees at a Costco voted in favor of forming a union. Below is their classy statement in response 👏👏👏

Marianne, please reconsider your remark. You’re making a mistake. Aside from this letter saying as much, their track record is the opposite of places like Walmart.

I do not give a shit about unions. I worked 35 years seeing what they’re about. I am a very frugal shopper. Probably why I’m in my 50s, retired, and completely debt free. I will not pay more to support unions.

@marwilliamson your "classy" response is such boilerplate bullshit. It's not even good PR. It screams of "this is going to be contentious and toxic for everyone, just wait for our response". How is Costco management acknowledging their shortcomings not classy?

This was a very classy statement and they literally said they are disappointed with themselves. This is a such a Karen take trying to act like Costco hasn’t been the best of all these corporations. This was a great response from them. Wtf are you smoking?
