The USA needs an electoral system that lets people vote for what they want without these risks. Ranked choice or proportional – all are better than first-past-the-post.

"Moral" democracy is mostly being suppressed by limiting the options to corrupt choices... leaving us with corrupt democracy. I'm feeling all the "feels" with you! 🙂 Of the available options... you are in another league.

This is not supposed to be an oligarchy or monarchy. It's an election. Elections are supposed to be democratic things which the public participates in. The antidemocratic @DNC represents the rich and corporations. They hate democracy despite that word being in their very name.
