The issue of immigration at our Southern border must be dealt with not only on the level of symptom but also on the level of cause. U.S. policies have contributed mightily to the destabilization of economies throughout Latin America, fueling the desperation that then drives so many to migrate here. Of course we need an infrastructure in place to separate those with credible asylum claims from those who need to immigrate through other legal means. But nothing we do on the level of symptom will fundamentally solve the problem until we address the extreme poverty and drug cartel violence in countries from which people are seeking escape. We need to address the forces that are driving people to seek refuge here in such massive numbers to begin with. Then and only then will we be able to carve a new path forward. That includes far more support to Latin American countries seeking to improve their economies. It also includes an end to America’s Drug War,  which actually aids the drug cartels by providing them a huge black market in the United States. #ANewBeginning

You are not addressing the issue. These military aged men have been brought over by Soros as our new military. It’s not people looking for work. It’s those who passed the interview
And there it is - Sen Dick Durbin is finally revealing their grand plan Flood the country with illegal aliens, enlist them in the military, and make them citizens The part he isn’t disclosing is who the Marxists will use the alien soldiers against.. 🫵🏻

“I was taught from an early age about the often desperate plight of the immigrant and the blazing hope that America held out to them. The immigrant story of today contains no less richness, variety, and contribution than it did a hundred or two hundred years ago.” - Marianne Williamson marianne2024.com/issues/immi…

Latin America can solve their own problem through the US. They begin a different world. They make pledges of demilitarization. They encourage Africa, Europe, Asia, and the US to make such pledges. The world unites. Nations dearm. Diplomatic knots untangle. Economies improve.

We must turn of the magnet. Hire sufficient judges to adjudicate asylum claims same day. Deport all who do not keep ice informed of their location and do not present for asylum hearing. Asylum recipients to have their cases reviewed for continued legitimacy every 5 years.
