This clip is from a Breaking Points interview done on June 26, 2023. It reflects my views on Israel and Palestine going back before October 7. Many saw a small clip out of context of the entirety of an interview I did about a week ago, and have now accused me of views I do not hold. Many use the word “siege” and “blockade” instead of “occupation” when it comes to Gaza, because the Israelis had left Gaza in 2005. That is what I was referring to in the now viral clip. I have spoken and written about the occupation of the West Bank, the illegality of the settlements, and the siege of Gaza for years. After the interview, I spoke to both Israelis and Arab friends who told me that the word “occupation” should still be used in reference to Gaza, and I immediately wrote a statement saying so. The mischaracterization on the part of many is purposeful and strategic. In fact, I have called for a ceasefire from the beginning of this horror. I criticized the very idea of military action before it even occurred. And my stand for Palestinian justice goes back many years.

And I saw the clip about 13 days ago…why wait almost 2 weeks to “clarify”? A little too late.

That’s absurd. I made a statement within 30 minutes of that clip going viral. And I was making videos about all of this starting on October 8. This is something I have been talking about and writing about for years. newsweek.com/israel-palestin…

The siege isn't just immoral, Marianne; it is illegal. Criticism of you is a little unfair on the left, I will admit. But their primary concern is you say things about foreign policy that are incorrect and show a lack of interest in the details, and then you only own up to it if there is enormous backlash. One example right on top of my head is that you disagreed with Chomsky when he said Israel doesn't have the right to exist. Did you even check to see why he said that? I doubt it. He said no state has the right to exist because, in international law, no law gives a state the right to exist. He said it because it was a fact of international law. It wasn't his opinion. Other examples are not foreign policy. A guy told you Obama gave money as reparations to German Jews. You told him that it sounded like Russian propaganda, which is the term I think you used. And this response, like so many others, shows me that you make up an answer when you don't know something. Something we all do on some level. I didn't know if that was true either, but I didn't assume I looked it up, and yes, Obama did do that. There is nothing wrong with not knowing. But what is wrong is not knowing but pretending you do. Not taking responsibility for your mistakes and doubling down. If you want to know why the left isn't warming up to you, it is because it looks like you makeup answers instead of researching the topic discussed, and don't investigate whether or not the criticism of you has a factual basis. And the fact that your former staffers can't show the evidence publicly of your mistreatment of them because they would be violating the NDA, and because you won't release them from it, we will never know for sure. Really convenient for you, don't you think? Well, not having all the facts has never stopped you from forming an opinion on matters. wassermanschultz.house.gov/n… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_….

What else do people want? She was clearly in a political place before the current conflict that was miles ahead of Biden.

This politics where so many leftists decided to go crazy over one section of one interview is atrocious interpersonal behavior. Part of my problem is that I think Williamson is swimming in this kind of politics her self too often (not as bad). Play a different game.

But will you stop waffling on the issue of European Zionist colony in Palestine? Give Palestine back to the indigenous Palestinians, send the European Ashkenaz - of whom Marrianne Williamson numbers - back to Europe or America, or whatever.
@votesocialist24 Nobody is going to question the authenticity of these bad a$$es

We’ve heard your support for genocide and support for Ukranian Nazis in all your interviews, hun.
