The college loan debt should never have existed. I don't know of any other generation in American history that used its youth as a profit center to exploit rather than as a responsibility to honor. You skipped the part about raising taxes to fully fund college. I'm already subsidizing state/county college. Now, I'll have to pay for MORE French Lit, and Sociology majors. Majors that already pay poorly in the workplace - too poorly to repay their own loans.
