The college loan debt should never have existed. I don't know of any other generation in American history that used its youth as a profit center to exploit rather than as a responsibility to honor. Public policy should set young people up to win, not cut them off at their knees. As President, I will use the Higher Education Act to completely eliminate the debt.youtube.com/watch?v=fdnwrTfB…

The US currently pays $835 billion to service its debt, nearly one-third of its annual revenue of $3 trillion. Capitalism must radically change to survive. Partnership, interdependence and anti-militarism should be the new imperatives since we can't be the global policeman!

What will you do to reign in the cost of college?

Great idea. Now how would you bring this about without collapsing our entire higher Ed system? And not piss off the millions of people who paid off their mountain of debt. Or the people who didn’t go to college because they couldn’t afford it? Walk the tightrope, Kooky Karen.

This issue is a non-starter used by politicians trying to raise funds and get elected. 1. What happens to the payments that have already been made out-of-pocket? 2. If college isn't made tuition-free, then what happens with new loans for each new semester?

Thank God there's no possibility you will ever be President. You create dependency among your constituents at the expense of those of us who take responsibility for ourselves. You people live to create a slave class, utterly dependent upon your largesse paid for with OPM.
