With so many people trying to cross the Southern border, it’s easy to believe the situation is hopeless. But it’s not. We have a situation in Washington where Congress refuses to work with the President to create the processing centers that are needed. 1/4

The GOP is refusing to negotiate in good faith because they’re using the crisis to make the President look bad in 2024. 2/4

We can house people while interviewing to see who has “ credible fear” and thus should receive asylum, then send others back so they can seek to enter legally. 3/4

In the meantime we must address root causes such as economic destabilization in migrants’ home countries (much of which we’ve contributed to), and the violence of the drug cartels (ending the Drug War will help undercut their market). 4/4

Who is going to build them homes and all the other homeless people. A processing Center is dealing with the front end first. It would be ludicrous to welcome them to be homeless while also not addressing your own current homeless problem.ur solution is politics not empathy

Because that’s NOT what’s needed!!!

So many have come already they are a strain o. The system and democrats won't do a thing to stop it. They are getting benefits( money and health) and shelter for free. They get sent for free whereever they want without proper vetting or processing. We need to CLOSE THE BORDER.

We do not need processing centers. We need buses to ship them back over the border.

We had strict quotas and health and background checks on all immigrants.

Yes, and the best person as President in 2025 would be the person who is likely to be most effective at working with Congress. That would be President Biden. Thanks for writing some ad copy for his campaign.

We don't need any "processing centers." You know we're broke? Finish the wall and don't let them in unless they go through our LEGAL immigration system and are allowed in.

Our President needs to secure our border like Trump did, we're harming American citizens (just look at Chicago, NYC, and border towns). We can't take care of the world and we have a LEGAL immigration system.

Close the border for 6 months.
