No matter what we think of Donald Trump politically, he must be treated fairly by our justice system. Equal treatment before the law not only means that everyone is held accountable, but also that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Trump has not been proven guilty of insurrection in a court of law, and a ruling based on nothing but that opinion is stepping onto a very slippery slope.

Let's stop pretending that "a court of law" actually is actually meaningful thing. The legal system has been abused badly in pursuit of Trump and lawyers have a lot of work to do to restore confidence.

Too bad @DNC won't let you in the ballot. You , RFK. Getting screwed. I don't vote Dem, but it's all BS to not give you a shot to primary Biden and possibly debate.

Good on you for standing for something your party will have you buried for. That takes guts.

How can anyone trust the judicial system when we see this kind of lunacy?

'Slippery slope' is the wrong metaphor. It's like 'pulling off the bandage'. A court adjudicated Trump participated in an insurrection. That was the correct decision. The 14th doesn't require conviction. Only involvement in a rebellion. Now other courts are free to concur.
