No matter what we think of Donald Trump politically, he must be treated fairly by our justice system. Equal treatment before the law not only means that everyone is held accountable, but also that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Trump has not been proven guilty of insurrection in a court of law, and a ruling based on nothing but that opinion is stepping onto a very slippery slope.

Last month, a Colorado judge determined Trump engaged in insurrection, which is what 14 3 of the Constitution lists as disqualifying someone from the ballet.

The Court treated the known laws on this matter accordingly. Likewise, this "type" of activity is why the Federal Government created the RICO Laws. Big WRONG TURN here!

His freedom is not in jeopardy as it would be in a court case. Some people are not eligible to be president. The provision is there to protect the nation, not the individual.

He's already being given special treatment. Any normal person that would have done what he's been charged with would be put in jail till trial.

You know your party is morally and ethically down the toilet and they already pulled the lever on you because you’re not acceptable to their elitist DC Country Club…right? This is what the establishment has been and continues to do to Trump.

Accusing someone of a crime doesn’t constitute a guilty verdict. Like it or not but Marianne is correct. Democracy is fair and equitable for all.

Trump does not need to be found guilty of insurrection. he only needed to have aided and abetted. BTW, Trump's trial for his actions leading up to 1/6 hasn't even started yet. Let justice prevail then come back to us.
