Even if we agree that Israel was justified in trying to destroy Hamas' military capability, there is no moral justification for what this war has cost the Palestinian people in terms of civilian casualties. Moreover, this war has only added to a hatred that will last for generations, producing more harm to everyone. 1/3

Whether Netanyahu convinced Biden this war was an appropriate strategy, whether Biden encouraged him or whether he simply went along - it was and is both morally and strategically indefensible. How are you going nto stop Hamas from fighting for the river to the sea solution. You are not. They are as a people entirely committed to the destruction of Israel and all Jews. All Hamas are Palestinians. All Palestinians are Hamas. Maybe you don't recognize evil when you see it

I do recognize evil when I see it, but not all evil can be bombed away. And there are conditions in life that make it easier for evil to thrive. Those conditions have been present in that area for a long time, and it serves no one for us to pretend otherwise.
