Even if we agree that Israel was justified in trying to destroy Hamas' military capability, there is no moral justification for what this war has cost the Palestinian people in terms of civilian casualties. Moreover, this war has only added to a hatred that will last for generations, producing more harm to everyone. 1/3

Whether Netanyahu convinced Biden this war was an appropriate strategy, whether Biden encouraged him or whether he simply went along - it was and is both morally and strategically indefensible. Every day the war has gone on has been a humanitarian abomination and disservice to both Palestinians and Israelis alike. 2/3

Not one more day of delay is acceptable. As President, I would say "No more." No more money. No more support at the UN. No more repeating the same mistake we have made for years, failing to hold a friend accountable. It is time to stop the madness. It is time to stop this war. 3/3

The world doesn't work on moral justifications, it works on survival. Try analyzing WW2 in the same way for a deeper appreciation of what Israel is doing right now.

I have. And btw, WW2 was absolutely driven by moral justifications as much as by survival.

Marianne first off your basing your claims off Hamas reporting! Second they teach Palestinian children to hate the Jews already in unwra schools. Hamas brought this on the people of Gaza. Please explain how you would end Hamas? Until then please be quiet and let Israel do what needs to be done

"... added to a hatred that will last for generations ..." Adding!?! What's after brutal murder of civilian men, women and children? Hamas is the Gazan's problem and there is only one fix.

But it’s not a “war”. This is genocide. They are literally massacring a people with no military. Hamas is a group; not a state. The Palestinians are ALL casualties. Yes, 22,00 have been killed SO FAR; however, over 2 million are displaced. We cannot simply think of things as “life and death”. Even those who dare survive are not *living*. They are merely existing. They are missing limbs, orphans, starved, sick, without refuge. Is that a “life”? Even if the killings stopped today, which we all know they won’t, how can they even begin to survive? Who is going to help them? Who is going to build them the infrastructure Israel has destroyed? The hospitals? The schools? The chinches? It won’t be Israel and it won’t be the United States. What about the OVER 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza who are losing their babies because they are sick, malnourished and have no hospital to go to? What about all of the children who are dead, disabled, or sick and can never have their own? The Palestinian people will cease to exist. They are not only being killed by bombs, they are also dying slow, pailful deaths of infections, starvation, and other inhumane travesties. THAT is genocide; not solely the number of bodies.

77% of Palestinians said Oct 7 was justified. Now it's down to 70%. So there's no excuse for you claiming this has increased Palestinian hate against Israel. They were already maxed. You also assume against evidence that Israel is responsible for all Palestinian deaths. Doh.
