a much better national safety net is easily affordable with fiscal responsibility and adoption of rational drug policy: Legalization- thank you so much for your commitment to swiftly end the war on drugs.
we could let a homeless person have a decent quality of life for 10k a year. crimes that actually matter would decrease even further and society would improve. or we could stay wasting 50k pp/yr on incarceration/mandatory treatment & just keep burning money til everything breaks.
