Biden has shifted drastically to the right on immigration. Traditional Democratic leadership seems to think playing to a mythical center is what will win the election. I say we'll win by speaking to the American conscience. We won't win by trying to be as racist as the GOP on this issue; we'll win by creating and effectuating a counter narrative that treats the problem on the level of root cause. End the sanctions on Cuba and Venezuela. Revitalize economies we ourselves helped destabilize. And end America's War on Drugs. Here is my immigration policy: marianne2024.com/issues/immi…
New — The drastic border and asylum restrictions considered by President Biden reflect a seismic political shift on immigration. It's a shift that would've been unthinkable 3 years ago, when Biden promised to "restore" the asylum system. W/ @edokeefe: cbsnews.com/news/immigration…

Wanting a strong border with legal and vetted immigration is NOT racist. Theres a reason why you don't invite an unlimited number of people into your home. It's unsustainable.

Democrats are all racists. That is what your party stands for.

Why is it racist to want a secure border? Race has nothing to do with it.

Because he thinks we shouldn’t allow immigrants to enter our country illegally? This has been a basic policy in the past. You’re right we need to get to the root of it though. There should be a pathway to citizenship but we still need border security.

No we need to secure our goddamn border just like every President before Biden did.

How do you feel about taking Trump off the ballot in Colorado? Does that feel like democracy to you? How do you feel about not getting on the ballot in some states? Does that feel like democracy to you?

"Biden now finds himself entertaining drastic and permanent restrictions on asylum — including an extraordinary authority first invoked by former President Donald Trump to summarily expel migrants — to get the GOP to back Ukraine aid." all in a good cause tho' the Ukraine war🙄
