Biden has shifted drastically to the right on immigration. Traditional Democratic leadership seems to think playing to a mythical center is what will win the election. I say we'll win by speaking to the American conscience. We won't win by trying to be as racist as the GOP on this issue; we'll win by creating and effectuating a counter narrative that treats the problem on the level of root cause. The immigration policy in this country is anything but racist. I agree that we should lift sanctions from S. American countries in order to stabilize their economies which hopefully will decrease the amount of immigration coming up North.

Biden has done anything other than issue $2.7 Trillion of additional debt in 7 months. He makes a big brass statement and takes credit then nothing happens. It is why he is where is even with those who have supported him in the pass.

High time to connect the discussion to the years of foreign policy debacles where we helped or allowed weapon sales to countries that then turned them on their own citizens. The best policy to deter the mess is to assist countries with economic opportunities for their people.
