Pope Francis is now allowing priests to bless same sex unions. He says such unions should not be subject to “exhaustive moral analysis” and that anyone seeking God‘s love and mercy should receive it. Millions of lives will be released from judgement by this, many families reconciled, many hearts given comfort that were tormented before. Much respect for him for this. This is truly a great thing. 🙏

Best Pope of my lifetime.

If this is true it's both brave on his part and temporary, because the Catholic Church, as an institution, will rebel against this mightily.

Ha, Cafeteria Christians are going to find a reason rebel against authority when that authority stops telling them what they want to hear.

If God wanted a man marries a man he would have sent two men in the garden of Eden. But God gave Adam an Eve. And burnt to ashes Sodom and Gomorrah. The church and the Pope have no rights to change what God did not until they tell us the Bible is fake. Which they can't bc isn't.

Explain “exhaustive moral analysis” to the abused altar boys.

There are lots of sins. Big ones, litte ones. That is what reconciliation is for.

I guess this is a "make it up as you go along " Pope. He's definitely not following the Bible or Catholicism.

Great, but judgement is central to Christianity, so those who really want a release might consider giving up judgement entirely. It's liberating and millions have done it. Now even the pope must edge towards it to avoid irrelevance.
