Election interference by foreign governments exists, but election interference right here at home is beyond what most people have any idea. The naïveté by which supposedly sophisticated people allow themselves to be led around by the nose when it comes to media and online manipulation is one of the most self-defeating characteristics of modern progressives.

I was talking about something slightly different. I made my comment separate from the Ryan Grim tweet because your reply made me realize my point seemed only to be referring to that one example. I’m referring to a larger picture.

The US has been proudly interfering in elections around the world for more than 50 years. Marianne come across as naive at best. Go look at Time Magazine with Clinton and Gorbachev on the front cover and you'll familiarize yourself with how America has operated forever. Duh 🙄
