I've always understood that Israel's siege on Gaza is morally indefensible and has caused immense suffering to Palestinians living there, but I had mistakenly assumed that Israel's withdrawal of settlements from Gaza in 2005 meant the term "occupation" no longer applied to Israel's control of the strip. I'm now learning that the UN and many leading international bodies and human rights organizations continue to regard Gaza as part of the occupied territories, so I stand corrected on my earlier remarks suggesting otherwise. But more importantly, as President, I will fight for a future free of siege and occupation; one where every Israeli and every Palestinian can live in safety, dignity, and freedom.

You’re running for president in what country? When will we stop meddling in other countries business and repair our country?

I agree to at lease 20% of what you are trying to express. On a positive note, you are a huge improvement for the party over the current President Blinken, sorry Biden I mean @SecBlinken 😂😂😂😂

I’m guessing since you follow me, you may have seen my response. I appreciate your willingness to admit you were wrong and for being open to learn. Candidate or not, that’s a good trait to have. 💜
Yes she is! The statement that Israel isn’t an occupier is beyond factually incorrect t. Forcibly displacing over 200,000 people 75 years ago and taking their land is literally occupying it and apartheid. Furthermore, “Israel can’t get into Gaza?” The IDF murdered almost 7,000 Palestinians BECORE Oct 7 and have imprisoned thousands for things as minuscule as trying to cross certain streets. She is historically incorrect and continues to do the “both sides” game. She either doesn’t know the actual history, or she’s being blatantly dishonest. Either one is not ok. This is a literal quote from the UN;
