The worst part about the student loan debt is not just that it exists, but WHY it exists. Its very existence is the product of a predatory system that turned the eagerness of young people to get an education, to better their lives, into a profit center for lenders/banks/govt. Public policy should set our young people up to win, not cut them off at their knees.newsweek.com/dying-student-d…

Now apply that same logic to our medical system. All government intervention into the free market corrupts it.

Source of predatory loans claim? Data? I’m all for ending student debt- but we need better talking points with specifics!

They are predatory loans. Just make it reasonable to pay back. You pay 20 yrs and 15 of them never bring down the principal

You still can't grasp the monetization of education, is about economic discrimination, and keeping the masses ignorant. There is nothing worse than an educated slave.

Marianne, I graduated college after 5.5 years. I fucked up early and have paid the price. But even if I had graduated in 4 years, I’d still be sitting here with insane college debt. I’m not asking the government to forgive my loans. But I graduated in 2014. (1)
