What do you say to the family business owners who employ only a minimum of employees to address the needs of their business and who they pay less that $15-$20 an hour because WE CANT PAY MORE since that's more an hour than we actually are paid as well. You progressives never thin

Progressives who think this way can't run a business because they think life is so simple we all just snap our fingers and magic makes the money appear. Starting and growing a business is HARD WORK with VERY LITTLE PAY. Employees are needed but high wages aren't possible for us!

It could have been indexed to inflation under Obama, but Democrats didn’t do it. They also could have federally-enshrined a woman’s right to choose, but they wanted the threat of it being taken away to have a winning political point in perpetuity.

Actually it varies by state, for example, Wyoming still holds the lowest state minimum wage at $5.15.. Utah and Georgias is low too. But, bc housing is worse in WY, corporate cos often oay upwards of $20 for a starting wage bc it is impossible to afford to live there
