If a college student in America feels unsafe due to their ethnicity or religion, then that’s a problem no matter who they are. Our commitment to freedom for all should never be diminished by historical or immediate circumstances. Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia are equally evil. The ancient bond between Muslims and Jews must be fortified, not ripped apart, by what is happening now. Haters on neither side will carry the day. A higher kind of love is the only future for mankind.

In other words, Islamophobia and antisemitism are ‘equally evil,’ per Williamson, yet she has called Israel’s actions ‘genocide,’ and never points out the unprovoked slaughter and rape of 1,400 Jews by Hamas which started all this. Moral equivalence indeed.

Yes, college students who have to walk through protests against genocide are the real victims here!

Thats a nice generic statement, but don’t “both sides” this and legitimize genocide cheerleaders who “feel afraid” when they see peaceful protests against the apartheid Israeli regime. Anti-Zionism is not antisemitism.

Anyone who wants Jews elimated should NOT be welcome in USA. MIDDLE East lives by different non compatible standards that USA!

Yeah sorry but we been doing the antisemitism thing for 70 odd years, Zionism has nothing to do with antisemitism, you can clearly see this if you look back to Britain and the beginning.

One of the most sensible things I've heard from America in a LONG time! Thank you for this!

Agree with this sentiment. We need more love, understanding, and solidarity. But "feeling unsafe" is NOT the same as actually being unsafe, and I feel we need to make that distinction too.
