Some of the most significant voices in the environmentalist movement have either endorsed Biden or keep begging him to act differently as if one more tweet might do the trick. I feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. One side has no heart, another side has no spine, and almost everyone needs more courage.

The ‘environmental movement’ as it’s played now is just an assault on the US taxpayer. China is opening a coal-fired power plant every week. People in the Horn of Africa are starving and need cheap reliable power. Don’t talk to them about ‘renewables.’ Our war on fuel is stupid.

Science says trees can save the planet from climate changes. The whole world has to work together. Our little spot on the planet cannot make up for all the pollutants from China, India, et al.

I know it's odd to suggest, but in earnest maybe visiting the Smithsonian (see those ruby slippers... and Julia Child's kitchen....) might manifest some thoughts, energies, etc.
