The U.S. government is in the absurd position of supporting the bombing of Gaza and simultaneously telling Israel to protect civilians. How do you protect people you're killing? There's no valid justification for what Netanyahu is doing in Gaza. The U.S. should not support it. 🧵

Both peoples have the human right to a sovereign state, security and justice. That alone should be America's position, and what is happening in Gaza now does not support that. Our foreign policy cannot be guided here by what we can destroy but by what we can help create.

The time to lay plans for a 2-state solution is now. Neither Hamas nor Netanyahu are willing or capable of doing that, but world leaders can exert more pressure on them than they are now. The U.S. should be helping to lead that effort. Our highest ally should be humanity itself.

Dummy, it's the UN's and Hamas' responsibility to provide these Palestinian civilians places to go to (like they did for Ukraine, Syria etc.). Instead they are being used as human shields by Hamas and UN to make Israel look bad to idiots like you.

I hope for your sake a rapist doesn’t rip you from your bed! Kill and burn your children in front of your eyes and take a knife cut open your stomach remove your fetus child and slice your breast off! If that is not justification I don’t know anything that is Justified!

Well I think their position is to not kill civilians and kill hamas… how to do that is another point entirely

And another reason why you will never be President.

Bombing Evil is the RIGHTthing to do. Israel does more to protect Gazan civilians than Hamas does. How come you don't know that yet?

This is a UN school, they were told it was safe there. This is forbidden by international humanitarian law set by the so called "civilised" leaders. But it seems one nation gets to break them without the slightest consequence, while other countries have been annihilated for less

Williamson is correct. The U.S. support of massive killing in Gaza is unconscionable. Both sides need to heal from trauma both recent and historical. Otherwise, this madness (it is madness!) will sadly continue. There is no glory in revenge!

It’s lip service.
