The United States should not be supporting Israel’s war in Gaza. Sometimes a friend shakes a friend by the shoulders and says “What the hell are you doing?? You have got to stop.” 1/5

You can't ask a friend to stand by and allow her children to be kidnapped and murdered.

I agree with that, but there is no military solution to this. Palestinian children being killed is no less horrifying. What Israel is doing today will not make it more secure, it will only make it more hated. The only real solution here is brotherhood and justice.

Nope. You are 100% wrong on this issue, in that you do not understand that Gaza has been an Indepndant Enclave governed by Hamas since 2006, already. Gaza has 17 years of Hamas Rule, and they broke a long term Ceasefire by Raping & Murdering over 1000 Peaceful Israeli.

Provide a Palestinian entity interested in brotherhood and justice with Israel.
You can't have that with Hamas. There is zero evidence of it. Zero.
FYI, nothing the Israelis do could possibly make them "more hated" by those who've always hated them At some point they just have to stop caring, and Oct. 7th they reached that point. And of course there's a "military solution" to Hamas, just like there was with the Nazis.
More to the point, Israel's actions and our support of them have made the US more hated and less safe. It's been going on for too long. If they want to continue to ignore our concerns, they have every right to, without our support.

Yes there is. Just like Nazi Germany.
Preaching to the choir. Start trying to sanction and oust Hamas and talk later, until then stop trying to virtue signal
Thank you Marianne for addressing this so clearly.

Please give back hostages didn’t exactly work but militarily pressure did.
