The stance of the United States should be: 1) Permanent ceasefire, 2) return of the rest of the hostages, and 3) an immediate peace conference to establish a 2-state solution. That is the only way . 5/5

As long as you don't have return of the hostages #1 with unconditional surrender by Hamas a close#2, what you say is worthless. Who keeps breaking the ceasefire? As Long as Hamas exists, there can be no peace and no 2 state solution. They already had Gaza alone and used it to fire rockets and murder people. It also doesn't matter who is leading Israel, they will not stop until Hamas is only a bad memory, as it should be.
