The best thing that could happen now is for Netanyahu to resign. With new Israeli leadership, the United States should help build an international consortium including major Arab powers laying plans for the only real solution: 2 states with equal safety and security. 3/5

The stance of the United States should be: 1) Permanent ceasefire, 2) return of the rest of the hostages, and 3) an immediate peace conference to establish a 2-state solution. That is the only way . 5/5

The USA pretty much leveled a dozen countries. It really isnt in any moral position to tell any other country not to fight a war, (no one would take us seriously because i mean , just look at our history of war ) . But you can try I guess.

I'd like your offer to go into affect as well, but I also don't live in cuckoo land. Sure, Israel has its issues, especially in the two decades following the second intifada, but I'll tell you a little secret - the main block for two states are Palestinian (and now also Iranian)

The two state solution hasn't worked for 75 years. Two states in the same land will always lead to tension and subjugation. The only solution is a united Palestine where Israelis and Palestinians are both equally represented in government. End apartheid, end colonialism
