We should have universal healthcare. Insulin would be free. We’ve been trained to expect so little, politicians feel free to brag about throwing us crumbs.
From capping insulin costs at $35 a month for seniors on Medicare to cutting health care premiums by $800 a year for 15 million families, President Biden is lowering health care costs for millions of Americans.

Nothing the government gives you is free, it was taken by force from someone else first. The government can give you nothing , because it produces nothing.

We already have it through the Public Health Service- it’s just grossly underfunded

Insulin wouldn't be free. Its cost would be hidden from consumers so that insulin manufacturers can charge the government exorbitant amounts of money to do so., Remember $400 hammers? Imagine $400 insulin dosages.

Nothing is free. We should make the explicit decision to fund a program to provide insulin. Reviewable for effectiveness and efficacy on a regular basis. Not hiding behind a mischaracterization that it's free.

Pity the so-called progressives weren't interested in #forcethevote then.

Democrats and Republicans are both singing from the same hymnbook: "preserve the plutocracy." What the USA really needs is a leader who can enthuse the public that economics does not have to be trickle-down, that allowing poverty and hunger are sins.

Universal healthcare inevitably ends up being crappy healthcare.

Where does the money come from for your proposed universal healthcare?

Show us the plan, Ms. Williamson. When you’ve figured out how to wave a magic wand and make all the powerful interests arrayed against universal healthcare disappear in a puff of smoke, I’ll listen. Meanwhile, I thank Dems for the real world gains they’ve provided here.
