One of the things that shocks me (and there are so many at this point) is how many environmental organizations have chosen to endorse a President who has given more oil drilling permits then even Trump did, plus approved the Willow project. Ah, the lure of that phone call returned by someone at the White House! It’s the one who was assigned to schmooze you that day, to tell you things like “You know we agree with you about all of that!” when they know damn well that the administration will be doing the opposite. The organizations’ argument, of course is, “But who else do we have?” So basically they’re in on the fix. @LCVoters @nextgenpaction @NRDC_Action @SierraClub

Right on target Marianne. I was going to give, in my will, to the organization you mentioned in honor of my father who was an ardent outdoorsman and protector of our environment. I cannot now and must find a worthy nature group who does still care if our planet is inhabitable!

The establishment is concentrating on 2 candidates and are ignoring everyone else, like you, and my favorite, Robert Kennedy Jr. I am letting people know there are other viable options by commenting on posts that are basically saying "Two candidates and ours is better than..."

Unfortunately this is also a common dogwhistle. Willow project was approved under trump admin but no one picked up project to invest until 4 yrs later. Conoco owns the leases so Biden, legally, could not stop it. If it had not been for Biden’s efforts it would be 60% larger.

Between 2017 and 2020, the Trump admin approved an average of 3320 oil and gas drilling permits on federal lands per year. In 2021 and 2022, the Biden admin approved an average of 3883 per year. The latter is ~17% more. a.usafacts.org/api/v4/Metric…

A monkey in a clown suit could beat Trump, but I would much rather it be you.

Shocks you? They have all been co-opted by big monied interests. If you didn’t know this, you have no business running for office.
