The main difference between politics of the 21st-century and politics of the 20th is a willingness to address root causes rather than just symptoms. 1/6

Establishment politicians, often stuck in 20th C mindset, don’t want to look at root causes of our problems because of how often their policies ARE the root causes. 2/6

We end up thinking we have a lot of different problems - environmental, food supply, education, poverty, mental health, violence, criminal justice reform, health care and more - when there is one core malfeasance that connects them all: a fundamental lack of economic justice that infuses our operating system. 3/6

In the 1970s the average worker could afford a car, a house, a yearly vacation, and to send their kids to college. One salary could sustain a family of four. 4/6

Over the last 50 years we have sucked $50 trillion from the bottom 90% of Americans, creating an obscenely bloated fraternity of billionaires for whom the US treasury is a gilded piggy bank and leaving millions of people struggling on a daily basis to simply make it at all. 5/6

A government that maintains and perpetuates that inequity has a lot of nerve calling itself “qualified.” Qualified to drive a car means nothing if in the final analysis you’re on the wrong road. 6/6

You’re trying to be a root cause of trump winning. Just stop. Put your energy into helping reelect #BidenHarris2024 Marianne. Cmon read the room. We don’t need to take any chances of trump getting re-elected. #DropOutMarianne

Which is why the ACA works. It has pivoted healthcare toward Value Based Care models & was the catalyst behind $$$ invested in digital health technologies. Virta Health has reversed type 2 diabetes for over 100K customers. Eliminating the need for insulin is a kind of a big deal

Another difference is there’s more cons like you that only help republicans, but you know that already.

So…the Affordable Care Act was not designed to address root cause? How about the infrastructure bill? It’s easy to throw rocks. What’s your practical solution? Have you ever held elected office? Do you understand division of powers?

That inequality can be eradicated with one action. As Gaslighting is the cause of all human rights issues, the act of Gaslighting in public office and then positions of power over others needs to become illegal.
Dont forget the much more efficient and effective ways to spread disinformation and division. It’s scary.

I'd say college debt relief is just that, a symptom of a broken educational system. Higher education, tech and trade schools should be free and easily accessible to everyone. Let's really build back better and stop patching the brokenness.
