The exploitation of graduate student workers has always seemed particularly egregious to me. Universities all over the country are beginning to see the writing on the wall: that era needs to end.

In practice, what would that look like? I agree they should make proper money and not be overworked beyond what a typical college instructor would, but where would they make up the relevant experience?
