Despite the green investments in the IRA, President Biden has given more oil drilling permits than even Trump did. It does little good to invest in green energy when you’re also granting all those drilling permits and approving the Willow Project. It’s time to ramp down, not ramp up, fossil fuel extraction. You can't just immediately transition over to cleaner energy sources. It's going to take awhile to build up the necessary infrastructure and we also need a suitable replacement for gasoline and diesel. EV take too long to charge, we will need hydrogen to be our new fuel.
