I’m sorry. You ran before. And you were soundly rejected. Virtually no one wants you to run, let alone become president. Your campaign is not about us. It’s about you. A big fat ego trip. Just own it…
I see the pseudo-sophisticates on Twitter asking what I’m “possibly hoping to achieve…” by running for President. They’re big on the argument that I could never win. Whether I win, I cannot control. But I know what I can control. I can control whether people have the option of a President who says this country belongs to a tiny percentage of us, with a political system that perpetuates a fundamental economic injustice. And that we have to change that. A President who offers an Economic Bill of Rights - from MedicareForAll to a guaranteed living wage. Plus a Department of Peace. And a Department of Children and Youth. And ending the War on Drugs. That’s not just what I “hope” to achieve. Whether or not people choose that option is not under my control, but the option is offered. And I will be able to look at myself in the mirror because I know I offered it. #Marianne2024

Replying to @AndyOstroy
I was not “soundly rejected.” I ran out of money and dropped out before the votes began. Aa far as this being “a big fat ego trip,” please tell me how you think it’s ego inflating to wake up every morning to mountains of attacks and insults from people who know nothing about me and nothing about my work coming out of the mouths of such as you.

Running out of money is a sign of rejection

Really? Kamala Harris dropped out before I did for that reason.

Why did you run out of money?
When you don't have ideas that resonate, people don't donate. It's really that simple.
Why did you run out of money?
With respect, Ms. Williamson — You were once a spiritual leader. Whatever one’s particular chosen metaphysical beliefs, you inspired kindness & empathy. Why not stick to that work, instead of peeling off Biden votes to help vile narcissistic sociopath Trump regain power?

You ran out of $$$ because no one contributed BECAUSE you were soundly rejected. Get it?

If no one is donating to your campaign, you were soundly rejected. Put your ego aside, no one is voting for you. You have zero experience that qualifies you for the job.

You TOLD us who you were. You let us know who you are. And, now, you’re pissy because we all see what a horrible human being you were and remain? By the way, people indicate support with $. Therefore, running out of money MEANS too few saw any value …in you.
